Top-pair production at the LHC with MINNLOPS

A bstract We consider the production of a pair heavy quarks and illustrate derivation M i NNLOPS method to match next-to-next-to-leading order calculations with parton showers (NNLO+PS) for this class processes. As first application, we construct an event generator fully differential simulation hadronic top-quark at NNLO+PS discuss all details its implementation in shower Monte Carlo framework. present new phenomenological results Large Hadron Collider obtained by including tree-level decays top quarks, while accounting spin-correlation effects. comprehensive comparison LHC measurements shows excellent description experimental data across multiple leptonic particle-level observables.
